Can you imagine a festival without music? In the year 1867, the former Music Director, David Ignatz Walch, founded The Tänzelfest Boys' Band, which was an absolute stroke of luck for the town. Dressed in historic uniforms of Kaufbeuren in the 1850s, these young musicians captivate their audiences, not only with their appearance, but especially with their music. All over Kaufbeuren you can hear their music - inspiring both local town folk and visitors alike.
Whether at the flag-throwing ceremony, during the great parade, or the Kaufbeuren Ceremonial Tattoo, the Tänzelfest Boys' Band always receives enthusiastic applause. The Tänzelfest Boys' Band not only inspires its spectators during the Tänzelfest; their performances, both within Germany and abroad, have enthralled audiences everywhere.
When will it be your turn?
