When you first encounter our Magic Maze you may ask yourself "What in the world is this supposed to be?" For many years, all of the activities of The Tänzelfest Festival centred around a field labyrinth known as the "Magic Maze". Everybody gathered there at the "Hölzle" to see and to be seen.
Today this area is part of the military base. Together with their children, townsfolk walked through the maze, met old friends, and exchanged the latest gossip.
For many years Kaufbeuren did not have a Magic Maze; however, in the year 2002, a similar labyrinth was built in our beautiful town park, the "Jordanpark" by dedicated volunteer workers. During the opening ceremonies of our Tänzelfest Festival, we invite you to take the hands of our children and explore & experience the enchantment of The Magic Maze.
